Very Low Sampling Frequency Model Predictive Control for Power Converters in the Medium and High-Power Range Applications

چکیده
Several control strategies have been proposed with the aim to get a desired behavior in power converter variables. The most employed techniques are linear control, nonlinear based on and feedback, predictive control. controllers associated algorithms usually fixed switching frequency, featuring defined spectrum given by pulse width modulation (PWM) or space vector (SVM) time period. On other hand, finite set model (FS-MPC) is known present variable frequency that results too high for applications, increasing losses, reducing switches lifetime and, therefore, limiting its application. This paper proposes approach using very low sampling allowing use of applications. method straightforward understand, simple implement, can be computed off-the-shelf digital systems. main advantage algorithm comes from combination SVM technique, drawing principal benefits both methods. provided experimental satisfactory, displaying nature vector-based schemes but at same fast response as expected
